Business Developer at a Fast-Growing Supermarket

About the Role

A fast-growing supermarket in Lagos with multiple branches across the state is seeking a proactive and highly driven Business Developer to manage and grow our online sales operations. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in e-commerce, customer engagement, order fulfillment, and digital product visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process online customer orders promptly, ensuring quick fulfillment and seamless service delivery
• Work closely with the Content Creator to develop and implement strategies that drive traffic to the website and online platforms
• Ensure that all products are properly listed and optimized across digital channels
• Manage online customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Oversee timely order fulfillment and inventory coordination

Required Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience working with reputable e-commerce or online retail companies in Nigeria
• Proven experience in business development, e-commerce operations, online sales, or digital marketing within a retail or FMCG environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage online customer orders and oversee timely fulfillment

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of product listing processes, online merchandising techniques, and customer conversion strategies
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time-management abilities
• Basic understanding of CRM systems, social media platforms, and online sales tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively with content creators and cross-functional teams
