An established company is recruiting for the following position.
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Bookstore Assistant, based in Abuja.
- The Bookstore Assistant will be responsible for daily operations such as inventory management, assisting customers in finding books, managing transactions, maintaining store organization, and creating a welcoming environment for patrons. The role also includes supporting marketing activities and contributing ideas to improve customer experiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Customer Service and the ability to assist and engage with customers effectively
- Inventory management skills and attention to detail for organizing and maintaining book collections
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle daily store operations
- Basic knowledge of Sales and Retail, including point-of-sale systems and payment processing
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to create a friendly atmosphere
- Passion for books and reading
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Previous retail or bookstore experience is a plus
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent
