Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. - Maintain proper water levels, pressure, and temperature in the boilers. - Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on boiler equipment to prevent malfunctions. - Control the firing of the boiler, ensuring that fuel is used efficiently. - Respond to alarms and indications of potential operational issues; take corrective actions as necessary. - Maintain records of operating parameters, maintenance, and issues encountered during operations. - Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. - Coordinate with maintenance personnel to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance activities. - Ensure compliance with quality standards and environmental regulations related to boiler operations. - Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 4years of experience operating boilers in an industrial environment, preferably within the food industry. - Knowledge of boiler systems, safety practices, and maintenance procedures. - Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
