## Title: Billing and Administrative Assistant
Position Overview
Aniso Specialist Medical Centre is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Billing & Administrative Assistant to support our billing, HMO, and administrative operations. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to gain practical experience in a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process HMO claims, track submissions, and follow up on approvals
- Review and prepare accurate billing statements based on HMO tariffs
- Review and cross-check HMO tariffs for accuracy
- Reconcile cashier reports and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain organized billing documentation for easy reference and audits
- Handle email communications related to HMO claims, inquiries, and billing issues
- File and update hospital documents in accordance with administrative protocols
- Conduct office errands, such as delivering official documents and correspondence
- Provide administrative support to the Billing Department, assisting with routine tasks
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Medical Records, Health Technology, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication abilities
- Good computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and email communication
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing financial transactions and billing data
- Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in records and billing claims
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external HMO representatives
- Basic customer service skills to assist patients with billing inquiries
- Must reside in Benin City
