Bartender at Excel and Grace Consulting

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Bartender to join our team at Excel and Grace Consulting in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a clean and welcoming bar environment. You must have strong knowledge of local and international cocktails, be customer-service oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, spirits, and soft drinks, according to standard recipes
• Welcome and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, utensils, and workspaces
• Monitor stock levels and inform management when supplies are low
• Upsell drinks and promote special offers to increase revenue
• Assist with setting up and closing the bar daily

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE qualification; additional training or certification in hospitality or bartending is a plus
• 1–3 years of proven experience as a bartender in a bar, hotel, restaurant, or lounge
• Good knowledge of local and international beverages and cocktail preparation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong attention to detail and personal hygiene
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Must be honest, reliable, and customer-focused

Compensation

N100,000 - N120,000 per month
