We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Key Responsibilities: - Mixing drinks according to recipes, using appropriate techniques, and ensuring quality standards. - Greet customers, take orders, offer recommendations, and provide a positive and engaging experience. - Ordering and stocking bar supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring efficient bar operations. - Cleaning the bar, tables, and work areas, maintaining a sanitary environment, and ensuring proper sanitation procedures. - Handling cash and credit card transactions, balancing cash receipts, and ensuring accurate sales records. - Verifying customer age, monitoring intoxication levels, and adhering to all local and national liquor laws. Other Duties: - Assisting with bar setup or contributing to bar menu development. Skills: and Qualifications - Interested candidates should possess a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) with 2 years experience. - Familiarity with classic cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and different types of spirits, wines, and beers. - Ability to interact with customers, build rapport, and create a welcoming and enjoyable bar experience. - Knowledge of bar equipment, inventory management, and cleaning procedures. - Understanding of laws and regulations related to alcohol service, including age verification and monitoring intoxication levels. - Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and to handle customer inquiries and complaints.
