Barista / Mixologist at E'sorae Luxury

About the Role

We are seeking a talented, creative, and customer-focused Barista & Mixologist to join our team at E'sorae Luxury in Lagos. This role requires someone who can confidently prepare high-quality cocktails, mocktails, coffee beverages, and specialty drinks while delivering top-notch customer service in a vibrant environment.

Barista Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages
• Maintain coffee machines, grinders, and bar equipment
• Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences
• Ensure bar station cleanliness, stock levels, and hygiene standards

Mixologist Responsibilities

• Create, mix, and serve cocktails, mocktails, and signature beverages
• Develop new drink recipes and seasonal menus
• Present drinks attractively and consistently
• Ensure responsible beverage service and follow alcohol service policies

General Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service team for smooth operations
• Handle customer feedback politely and resolve minor issues
• Manage inventory of beverages, syrups, fruits, and bar supplies
• Adhere to all health, safety, and cleanliness standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista and/or Mixologist (an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing and cocktail preparation techniques
• Creativity and the ability to craft unique beverages
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work during peak hours and in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
