About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our bakery operations team. As Bakery Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations and lead our bakery staff to achieve organizational goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate day-to-day bakery operations
• Plan, schedule, and supervise bakery production, shipping, and cleaning activities to the highest safety and sanitation standards
• Supervise, evaluate, train, and schedule work of bakery staff
• Manage staff to increase productivity and performance
• Enforce and implement disciplinary measures as stated in the staff handbook
• Consolidate product orders from users and ensure timely fulfillment
• Ensure proper use and care of specialized production equipment by staff
• Ensure adherence to all policies and standard operating procedures across the bakery
• Conduct quality control checks before, during, and after each step of the production process
• Minimize waste of resources and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in bakery or food production operations
• Experience managing teams and operating in a fast-growing organization
• Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams to success
• Strategic planning and business development experience
• Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to implement activities effectively
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent time management skills
• Hardworking, respectful, firm, and diligent with commitment to achieving organizational goals
• Must be living in close proximity to the bakery location
