About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Bakery Manager to join our expanding team. You will oversee daily operations and drive growth while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
• Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
• Plan, schedule, and supervise bakery production, shipping, and cleaning activities to the highest safety and sanitation standards
• Supervise, evaluate, train, and schedule bakery staff
• Manage staff to increase productivity and enforce disciplinary measures as outlined in staff handbook
• Take responsibility for consolidation of product orders from users
• Ensure proper use and care of specialized production equipment by staff
• Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures across all bakery operations
• Conduct quality control checks before, during, and after each step of the production process
• Minimize resource waste throughout operations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc degree or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in bakery operations or food production management
• Experience managing people and operations in a fast-growing organization
• Reside in close proximity to the bakery location in Lagos
