About the Role
Estrada International Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Background Checks Officer to join our team in Lagos. We are dedicated to aligning human capital with business objectives, and we need a meticulous professional with a passion for maintaining integrity in the hiring process.
In this position, you will ensure that our clients build their teams on a foundation of trust and transparency through thorough and accurate background verification processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed background checks including educational qualifications, employment history, and professional reference verifications
- Identify discrepancies in candidate documentation using analytical skills and provide accurate reporting
- Engage with academic institutions, previous employers, and other relevant bodies to secure necessary verification data
- Maintain professional communication while navigating the complexities of the background check industry
- Ensure all verification processes are carried out with the highest level of confidentiality and professional ethics
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience within a background check industry firm
- BSc in English, Sociology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced staffing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience gained within a recruitment agency or HR consulting firm
Compensation
N200,000 per month
