Position Overview

In the fast-paced world of auto repair, the Automotive Workshop Manager plays an indispensable role. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of automotive service departments, coordinating all workshop activities, managing staff, handling customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection and testing of vehicles to ensure the efficiency and functionality of all systems
• Establish and implement operational procedures and policies in the workshop
• Plan and coordinate all workshop activities, including scheduling appointments and allocating tasks to technicians
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment
• Train staff on new technology, machinery, workshop procedures, and safety protocols
• Communicate with clients about vehicle problems, maintenance plans, and repair options
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and equipment, and order new supplies as needed
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by handling complaints promptly and professionally
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and trends

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Workshop Manager or in a similar role
• Knowledge of mechanical aspects of vehicles
• Strong leadership and customer management abilities
• Ability to handle and resolve conflicts
