Automobile Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Automobile Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling a wide range of vehicles, including Ford vehicles, Toyota Tacoma, and various motorbikes. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform both routine maintenance and major mechanical repairs. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles and motorbikes. - Repair, service, and overhaul gasoline and diesel engines. - Perform complete vehicle overhauls including engines, transmissions, differentials, suspension, and braking systems. - Service and repair Ford vehicles, Toyota Tacoma models, and various motorbikes. - Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, brake servicing, and cooling system repairs. - Inspect, repair, and replace faulty components including clutches, gearboxes, steering systems, and exhaust systems. - Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and ensure accurate repairs. - Test vehicles after repairs to ensure safety, performance, and reliability. - Maintain service records and report on work completed. - Follow workshop safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards. Required Qualifications: & Skills - Diploma or Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in vehicle and motorbike repair and overhaul. - Strong knowledge of automotive engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems. - Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical diagrams. - Experience using diagnostic scanners and mechanical tools. - Good understanding of vehicle safety standards and best practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Requirements - Experience working with multiple vehicle brands (Ford, Toyota, motorcycles, etc.). - Certification or trade qualification in automotive repair. - Valid driver’s license. Working Conditions - Workshop-based with occasional field or roadside support. - Requires physical effort, standing for long periods, and handling mechanical components.
