Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on construction equipment such as excavators, graders, compactors, loaders, and trucks
• Troubleshoot faults in wiring systems, alternators, starter motors, lighting, control systems, and electronic modules
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Install, upgrade, and calibrate electrical components on heavy machinery
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair logs
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards during all repair and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with mechanics, plant operators, and the Plant & Maintenance team to ensure smooth equipment operations

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years proven experience as an Auto Electrician, specifically working with heavy-duty construction equipment
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and machine control units
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical schematics
• Certification in Auto Electrical Work or relevant technical discipline (Trade Test, OND, or equivalent)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to site protocols
