About Us

AA Matthew & Co International is an accounting and professional services firm with a presence in Imobido. We are seeking a qualified Audit Trainee to join our team and contribute to our organizational goals while serving local and international clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in servicing local and international accountancy clients
• Perform bookkeeping using QuickBooks and Excel
• Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare monthly management accounts
• Gather and analyse financial paperwork to produce financial reports
• Assist with audits, tax computations, and corporation tax returns
• Maintain regular contact with clients and provide ongoing support
• Support social media marketing efforts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) to promote services and attract clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• 1–2 years' experience in an accountancy practice, preferably in a professional services firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks
• Currently pursuing a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN)
• Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and maintain confidentiality
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
