Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Carry out regular monitoring of our internal control system or processes
- Ensure all transactions comply with established policies and regulations.
- Ensure adequate control measures are put in place to reduce the risk of financial loss in all the various business units.
- Carry out regular tests and identify vulnerabilities in our system as well as recommend appropriate proactive control measures to the executives.
- Reconcile all lodgment i.e cash and electronic payments for accuracy.
- Monthly physical inventory count and reconciliation.
- Review all receivables and payables for accuracy or correctness.
- Audit stock etc..
Academic Qualification and Skills
- HND / BSc in Accounting or related fields.
- At least 4 years of work experience.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial records.
- Ability to work with less supervision.
- Good analytical skills.
- An ICAN certification or student member is preferred.
- Attention to details and good record management.
- Familiar with Tally or any accounting packages.
- Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Office e.t.c.
