## Title: Associate Professor in Family Medicine
About the Position
We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our Faculty of Family Medicine at the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo.
Required Qualifications
- Reader or Senior Lecturer rank with a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Evidence of outstanding and continuing achievement in teaching and research within a university setting
- MBBS plus final Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College Nigeria (or equivalent qualification for medical-related specialties)
- Minimum of fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national journals
- Demonstrated ability to supervise a minimum of one Master's or Ph.D. student
- Current registration with the relevant professional body (mandatory requirement)
Key Requirements
- Valid professional registration with appropriate medical regulatory bodies
- Proven track record in academic medicine and research
- Experience in postgraduate student supervision
