About This Role
Join Lington & Bernie Consulting Limited as an Associate to the CEO in a structured executive apprenticeship program designed to develop you into a future Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer over a 3–5 year horizon. This is an intentionally crafted opportunity for a Lagos Business School–trained generalist (3–5 years post-MBA) with strong execution capability, sound commercial judgment, and the maturity required to operate effectively within Nigeria's business environment.
Key Responsibilities
CEO Office & Strategy Execution
- Support the CEO in translating strategic priorities into executable initiatives across the business
- Track key initiatives, deliverables, and performance metrics to ensure timely execution
- Prepare briefing notes, reports, and decision-support materials for executive review
Operations & Business Management
- Coordinate execution across core functions, including operations, sales/leasing, property management, finance/admin, and compliance
- Ensure systems, processes, and internal controls are consistently followed
- Identify operational gaps and propose practical, implementable solutions
Financial & Commercial Exposure
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, payroll oversight, and basic financial reporting
- Develop a hands-on understanding of pricing, commissions, collections, and unit economics
Governance & Compliance
- Support Board and senior management processes, including meeting preparation, minutes, and action tracking
- Assist with regulatory compliance and engagement with relevant government agencies and institutions
Leadership Development
- Work closely with team leads to drive accountability, coordination, and execution
- Progressively take ownership of projects, teams, or defined business units
- Receive direct mentorship from the CEO on leadership and business management
About You
- Lagos Business School MBA graduate with 3–5 years of post-MBA experience
- Strong execution capability and commercial judgment
- Ability to operate effectively within Nigeria's business environment
- High potential for general management and strategic leadership
