## Title: Assistant Head, Academy

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Head, Academy. This role encompasses marketing communication, logistics management, and client relationship development for training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Communication for Public Training

  • Identify appropriate target audiences for training programmes
  • Develop and administer mailing lists, emails, and advertisements
  • Follow up with potential clients
  • Identify in-house training opportunities and involve subject matter experts accordingly
  • Identify and follow up on e-learning opportunities
  • Provide support in the development of in-house training proposals

Logistics Management

  • Coordinate logistics (venue, equipment, course materials, catering, etc.) for internal and external training
  • Develop and maintain a rich client database
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with target clientele (training/HR personnel and end customers)
  • Implement automated tracking of opportunities and client history
  • Manage automated mailing systems
  • Conduct data mining activities

Required Qualifications

Education

  • First degree from a recognized institution

Professional Certifications

  • IT professional certifications
  • Project management certifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role

Required Competencies

  • Demonstrable experience working with clients in a business context, supporting them in the use of learning technologies and blended learning
  • Comfort advising on the use of technologies such as Learning Management Systems
  • Sound understanding of good learning design and learning management, and the impact that effective learning and development can have on business outcomes
  • Strong confidence in customer-facing interactions
  • Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders at a strategic level
