## Title: Assistant Chef
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Chef to support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain high standards of hygiene and food quality, and demonstrate commitment, attention to detail, and efficiency during long working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and cooking
- Prepare ingredients including cutting, chopping, and marinating as instructed
- Ensure meals are prepared according to set standards and recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Properly store food items and manage kitchen supplies
- Assist with plating and timely food service
- Follow health and safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum SSCE (OND or catering school certification is an advantage)
- 1–2 years of working experience as an assistant chef or in a similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food hygiene practices
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work long hours
- Team player with good communication skills

Working Conditions
- Shift-based schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:00 AM
- Schedule: One day on, one day off
- Approximately 14–15 working days per month
- Exposure to heat and kitchen equipment
