Asset Manager at Phase3 Telecom

Job Purpose

The Asset Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the company's asset portfolio, including generators, vehicles, aerial fiber, and work tools. This role ensures accurate valuation and effective utilization of all assets while maintaining compliance with regulations and supporting financial reporting. Key responsibilities include managing asset lifecycles from acquisition to disposal, optimizing asset utilization and cost control, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper allocation, maintenance, and protection of assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete analysis and inventory of company assets
• Liaise with Asset Valuers to ensure accurate accounting and risk management to prevent fraud and losses
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to track asset allocation
• Ensure all records are up to date, accurate, and maintained on a monthly basis
• Assist with development of forecast budgets and produce reports
• Maximize asset profitability by ensuring maintenance occurs on schedule
• Liaise with insurance companies to ensure compliance with regulations
• Supervise and manage subordinates as required
• Provide advice to senior management, particularly the Director of Regional Operations, on infrastructure priorities, equipment scheduling, and policy matters
• Ensure all newly acquired assets are logged, tagged, and tracked properly from point of procurement

Fleet Management

• Oversee repairs and maintenance of vehicles
• Manage vehicle registration to ensure compliance
• Prepare servicing schedules and ensure all vehicles are serviced on schedule
