Architect

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Java Construction is a reputable construction and real estate development company committed to delivering high-quality, functional, and innovative building solutions. We are currently seeking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team. Required Qualifications: & Experience - A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution. - Minimum of 5–15 years post-graduation professional experience, preferably within the construction or real estate development sector. - Professional registration with ARCON will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review architectural designs, drawings, and specifications in line with project requirements and regulatory standards. - Coordinate with engineers, quantity surveyors, and site teams to ensure design integrity and effective project execution. - Conduct site visits to monitor architectural compliance, quality, and progress. - Ensure all designs comply with statutory regulations, building codes, and planning approvals. - Provide technical guidance and architectural input throughout the project lifecycle. - Review and approve shop drawings, material selections, and finishes. Required Skills & Competencies - Strong design, planning, and technical detailing skills. - Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design tools. - Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities. - Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work under pressure. - Sound understanding of construction methods, materials, and site operations.
