AI Engineer at Rise Networks

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and innovative AI Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing artificial intelligence models and machine learning systems that align with our organization's mission to drive responsible AI adoption across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning models for real-world applications
• Conduct data collection, preprocessing, and analysis to support model development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into digital products and platforms
• Research emerging trends in AI safety, ethics, and governance to ensure alignment with responsible AI practices
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and ethical impact
• Prepare technical documentation, model evaluation reports, and project summaries

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data tools (NumPy, Pandas, SQL)
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, NLP, or computer vision
• Experience deploying AI models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AI ethics, governance, or responsible AI principles
