## Title: Agriculture Farm Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Agriculture Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Gambari farm in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, resource management, and hands-on supervision to ensure efficient and sustainable crop production. This role requires a balance of technical agricultural knowledge, leadership ability, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Crop Management

  • Identify suitable crops based on soil conditions, climate, market trends, and available resources
  • Plan and coordinate all farming activities, including planting, fertilization, irrigation, pest control, harvesting, and produce sales
  • Monitor crop yields, assess soil health, and implement corrective or improvement measures as required

Operational Oversight

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers, seasonal laborers, and contractors
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm equipment, machinery, and infrastructure

Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Develop and manage farm budgets, control costs, and forecast expenditures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of farm operations, yields, inventories, and financial activities

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and agricultural regulations
  • Promote and implement sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices

Market & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Negotiate contracts and market farm produce to buyers, distributors, or processors
  • Collaborate with agronomists, veterinarians, and agricultural consultants to enhance productivity and profitability

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field
  • 8–10 years of proven experience in farm management or agricultural operations
  • Strong leadership, budgeting, problem-solving, and equipment handling abilities
