Job Summary - The Agricultural Expert will provide technical expertise and field-based insights across key crop areas — Cocoa, Shea, Cashew, and Sesame. The role involves conducting feasibility assessments, field studies, and data collection to support project planning and decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong, hands-on agricultural knowledge across multiple value chains, including crop management, harvesting practices, and production scalability. Key Responsibilities - Conduct and oversee field studies, surveys, and data collection for Cocoa, Shea, Cashew, and Sesame crops. - Assess agricultural feasibility, including plantation management, cultivation practices, and yield potential. - Provide expert input to the feasibility study team, ensuring technical accuracy in agricultural data and assumptions. - Support in designing and completing agricultural questionnaires and project documentation. - Evaluate the technical feasibility and scalability of operations from seed to market. - Provide recommendations on best agronomic practices for each crop, ensuring sustainability and quality standards. - Liaise with field operators, farmers, and local partners to gather real-time data and insights. - Prepare and submit concise field reports and technical recommendations to management. Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. -  Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in multi-crop agricultural projects, including exposure to value chain development. - Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following: Cocoa, Shea Butter, Cashew, or Sesame Seed Oil production. - Strong understanding of cultivation, harvesting, processing, and sustainability practices. - Proven ability to conduct field assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations. - Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
