## Title: Administrative Officer

About the Role

Lady Helen Child Health Foundation (LHCHF) is seeking a qualified Administrative Officer to support its operations and initiatives in Lagos, Nigeria. This role encompasses research coordination, foundation promotion, stakeholder relations, and administrative oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Research

  • Demonstrate familiarity with research methodologies and uphold ethical standards
  • Carry out research activities within target populations and desktop research
  • Facilitate and coordinate the activities of LHCHF research team

Foundation Promotion

  • Promote activities and initiatives of the Foundation
  • Organize and generate public interest in the Foundation's activities

Training and Capacity Building

  • Facilitate relevant training for communities responsible for vulnerable children
  • Provide individual and group training sessions, ensuring clarity and comprehension

Media and Stakeholder Relations

  • Facilitate and liaise with the press, stakeholders, and donor agencies
  • Develop and maintain close collaboration with mass media and organizations essential to the Foundation's goals

Fundraising Initiatives

  • Access funding to support LHCHF initiatives
  • Facilitate and implement fundraising initiatives on behalf of LHCHF
  • Identify and maintain a list of organizations to facilitate fundraising efforts

Administrative Duties

  • Carry out record keeping and file all documents
  • Assist with administrative activities of the office
  • Collate relevant information on behalf of the CEO and managing partner

Meeting Preparation

  • Prepare and plan for internal and external meetings
  • Update and maintain organizational lists and databases to address stakeholder needs

Event Organization

  • Facilitate the organization of LHCHF seminars, workshops, and outreach activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Statistics, or other relevant fields
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics (advantageous)

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong scheduling and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in office software and tools
