Accounting / Economics Teacher at De Mould Academy

About the Role

De Mould Academy is recruiting an experienced Accounting and Economics Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Junior Secondary School (JSS) and Senior Secondary School (SSS) students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for JSS and SSS classes
• Develop schemes of work, lesson notes, and assessment materials aligned with WAEC/NECO standards
• Conduct continuous assessments, exams, and provide timely feedback to students
• Foster analytical and problem-solving skills in Accounting and Economics
• Lead or support relevant clubs, competitions, and extracurricular events
• Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and teaching methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 2-4 years of secondary-level teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Economics principles
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Nigeria Teacher Education (NTE) certification
