Job Summary - The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. - The ideal candidate must be ICAN-certified and possess strong analytical and organizational skills to support financial decision-making and business growth. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports. - Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliations. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory financial requirements. - Support budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis. - Conduct internal financial audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets. - Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies as required. - Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making. - Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data. Requirements - B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related fields - ICAN certification is mandatory. - 5 - 10 years of relevant accounting experience. - Female applicants only (for Gender Balance) - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) - Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax laws. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. Remuneration - Attractive and commensurate with experience. - Only open to Abuja residents. - The company will reimburse transport fare (to and from) as well as accommodation costs for shortlisted candidates attending the interview (Flight fares are not inclusive).
