Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records of daily transactions, including expenses, revenue, and bank deposits
• Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, budgets, and other financial analyses
• Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure prompt payment while providing analysis and recommendations to minimize tax liabilities
• Analyze financial operations to identify risks and challenges, and make recommendations to management on improving profitability
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals and growth objectives
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timely completion
• Monitor key performance indicators and analyze financial data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and propose corrective actions
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the company's financial stability
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks
• Provide leadership to finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
• Ensure the company adheres to all accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls

Requirements

• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN)
