Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the company's financial health. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Monitor company expenses and assist in cost control measures
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial planning reports
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support the preparation of tax returns
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as required
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or ACCA certification is a plus)
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Accountant
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
