About the Role

An established company is recruiting for an Accountant position.

Key Responsibilities

• Post and prepare monthly management accounts
• Ensure all general ledger accounts are fully reconciled and substantiated
• Produce and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual returns to SEC for the fund
• Produce and submit quarterly and annual returns to NGX
• Produce and submit quarterly and annual returns to SEC
• Coordinate and prepare annual budgets
• Coordinate half-yearly reviews of the fund's performance, including revenue and operating expense budgets
• Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit of accounts with the approved external auditor

Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance-related discipline
• Minimum of 3-6 years' experience in an accounting or finance role
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
