About the Role

Robeck Locks Ltd, an established company based in Lagos, Nigeria, is recruiting an Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile financial statements on a timely basis
• Reconcile inventories and manage petty cash
• Coordinate accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses
• Conduct cash-flow forecasting
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Develop periodic reports for management
• Provide financial information and support to the wider team
• Work to KPIs and deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Accountant

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
