Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee all financial aspects of our construction projects and business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and records
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
• Monitor project costs and budgets, ensuring proper allocation of expenses
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure efficient operations
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with project managers to track expenditures and forecast financial needs
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction industry accounting standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as an Accountant, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (ICAN or ACCA)
• Residence within or around Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, or nearby areas

Compensation

Salary Range: ₦250,000 – ₦300,000 Monthly
