Accountant

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: - This role is critical for maintaining the financial health and integrity of our operations. - The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and analytical individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: The Accounting Officer will be responsible for: - Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance & reconciliation. - Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. - Ensuring strict compliance with statutory legislation and financial regulations. - Conducting detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making. - Coordinating with internal and external auditors during the financial audit process. Required Qualifications: and Experience - Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting. - Certification: A professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA will be a distinct advantage. - Age Requirement: Candidates within the preferred age range of 30 - 45years will be considered. Essential Skills: - Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking. - Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team. - Technical proficiency in leading accounting software and MS Office Suite.
