Accountant

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Position Overview: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the financial records and daily accounting operations of our restaurant. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales tracking, expense management, cash reconciliation, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Record daily sales, expenses, and other financial transactions - Reconcile cash, POS records, and bank transactions - Monitor and control restaurant expenses and budgets - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports - Track inventory costs and support stock control processes - Ensure accurate payroll records and staff payments (where applicable) - Maintain proper financial documentation and records - Ensure compliance with basic accounting standards and company policies - Support management with financial insights and reports. Requirements: - Proven experience as an accountant or accounts officer (restaurant or hospitality experience is an advantage) - Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping - Ability to work with spreadsheets, accounting software, or POS systems - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Honest, organized, and confidential - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
