Accountant

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: - The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, proficiency in core accounting software such as QuickBooks, and excellent analytical and communication skills. Key Responsibilties - Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements - Manage and maintain the company's QUICKBOOKS accounting software system, including data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting - Prepare and submit financial reports to management and relevant stakeholders - Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations - Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments - Inventory and stock management. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields - At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or agricultural industry - Proficient in core accounting software, with experience in data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills - ACA, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications is an added advantage - Experience in financial planning and budgeting - Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
