## Title: Account Officer

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this Account Officer position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
  • Reconcile bank statements and company ledgers
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Track and manage company expenses and ensure proper documentation
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation
  • Respond to financial inquiries from management and other departments
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures and systems

Requirements

  • OND qualification
  • 0 – 1 year of relevant experience
