Account Officer

This vacancy presents a chance to join a leading organization. Position Overview: We are on the hunt for a highly analytical and qualified Accounts Officer to join our team. In this pivotal position, your duties will include the following: - Pposting standard journal entries, - Managing and reconciling Health Management Organization (HMO) claims and receivables, - Reconciling payables and bank activities, - Monitoring financial transactions, - Assisting with budgets, - Participating in audits, and serving as the primary liaison between the hospital and HMO partners to ensure prompt and accurate payments. Required Qualifications: - Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role. - In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. - Proven experience in HMO claims management, reconciliation, and liaison within a healthcare setting is essential. Requirements: - To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and systems. - In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate must be a detailed person with outstanding analytical and time management abilities. - Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and at least one accounting software (preferably Sage ERP).
