Account Officer

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.  - Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and audit schedules  - Support tax computations and compliance processes - Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies  - Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling  - Collaborate with team members to support client engagements  - Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards  - Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities.  Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.  - ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) and/or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certifications are mandatory.  - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.  - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.  - Strong attention to detail and accuracy.  - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
