Account Officer

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Role Description - This is a full-time, on-site Account Officer role based in Lagos, Nigeria. - The Account Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate financial records. - Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. - Additionally, the Account Officer will provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Required Qualifications: - Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements with strong Finance knowledge - Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data and financial reports for accuracy and insights - Customer Service skills to effectively address client needs and inquiries - Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise professionally with clients and team members - Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a team environment - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - Experience with financial software and a solid understanding of local accounting standards is an advantage
