## Title: Account Manager

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Account Manager.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Management, Communications, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Business Administration, or any other related field (minimum 2.2/Upper Credit)

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts and sectors
  • Implement both strategic and tactical account management initiatives
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline with strong commercial acumen
  • Coach and challenge teams through the sales process
  • Lead business development and client relationship management in a B2B environment
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for increased sales
  • Synthesize information quickly and present insights to senior management
  • Monitor industry trends and local market dynamics

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Structured, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
  • Expert understanding of best practice account management methodologies (such as Pursuit)
  • Excellent quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills
  • Strong communication and business writing capabilities
  • Persuasive negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management in competitive B2B environments
  • Active listener with strong business judgment and ownership mentality
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and action-oriented approach
  • Understanding of local regional dynamics
  • Ability to influence others and drive data-driven decision making
