Account / Financial Controller at Swift Consulting

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this Account and Financial Controller position.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Manage a team of finance professionals
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws applicable to the oil & gas industry
• Supervise accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and banking activities
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decisions
• Implement and maintain internal control systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or M.Sc. is an added advantage)
• ICAN, ACCA or equivalent professional certification (mandatory)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior financial role within the oil & gas industry

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax laws
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail

Compensation

N250,000 - N300,000 per month
