Job description
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role.
Responsibilties
- Daily post transactions into the enterprise solution (Odoo system).
- Daily maintain records for company wide sales.
- Daily confirm customer payment for the sales outlet
- Daily retrieve bank balances and submit the same to management.
- Daily review and follow up on inventory entry posting.
- Weekly analyze expenses for review by the accountant.
- Weekly Collate Petty Cash report from the sales outlets for review by the accountant.
- Monthly perform bank reconciliation statements for all card accounts.
- Monthly review inventory reports from the wholesales outlets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Perform other adhoc duties as may be assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 2 - 4 years experience.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn on the job and follow through a professional career path.
- He/She must be attentive to details
- The ideal staff must be ready to multitask given the environment of a startup
- The candidate must be willing to keep pace with the use of modern accounting control tools, procedures and practices.
- The new staff must be conversant with the use of accounting and/or Enterprise solutions (Odoo, SAP, Sage enterprise solutions).
- The new staff must possess at a minimum foundation stage of ICAN or ATS 3 with a Bsc in accounting.
- Excellent Communication and writing skills.
