## Title: Academic Counsellor
About the Role
We are looking for an Academic Counsellor with at least 2 years of experience to guide prospective and current students in selecting suitable IT training programs based on their career aspirations. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in student recruitment, engagement, and retention by providing academic guidance and ensuring a seamless enrolment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students on course offerings, career prospects, and enrolment requirements
- Assist students in choosing the right IT training programs based on their goals and skill levels
- Follow up on leads generated through digital marketing campaigns and convert them into enrolments
- Provide detailed information about course structures, fees, certification, and career opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, enrolments, and feedback
- Support students throughout their academic journey, addressing concerns and providing career guidance
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between promotional strategies and academic offerings
- Organize information sessions, webinars, and open days to engage potential students
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging skills in IT to provide relevant counselling
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Counselling, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic advising, career counselling, or student enrolment (preferably in IT education)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and address their concerns effectively
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Familiarity with IT training programs, certifications, and career paths is an added advantage
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment and contribute to enrollment growth
