AC Technician at Ama-Zuma Group

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and other HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively to ensure optimal performance of systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial air conditioning systems
• Inspect and diagnose system malfunctions and determine appropriate solutions
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, changing filters, and checking refrigerant levels
• Test systems and components to ensure they are working properly and efficiently
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local HVAC codes
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours
• Recommend system upgrades or replacements when necessary
• Assist with other facility maintenance tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field
• 8 - 10 years of proven experience as an AC Technician or similar role
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and electrical components
• Familiarity with local HVAC codes and regulations
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments
