U.S. Mission Niamey, Niger Niger U.S. Mission Niamey, Niger Announcement Number: Niamey -Position Title: Strategic Content Coordination Assistant (Digital Production) Opening Period: October 25, 2021 – November 22, 2021 Series/Grade: LE 6520 FSN-08 Salary: FCFA 13,024,495 – FCFA 13,024,495 (Annual Basic Salary) For More Info: Human Resources Office: ext. 26161/28377/26261 E-mail Address: [voir contact] Who May Apply: All Interested Applicants / All Sources Duration Appointment: Indefinite subject to successful completion of probationary period The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week) DUTIES: The incumbent is responsible for building, maintaining and creating content for Mission flagship digital properties (social media, website content); for developing a year-long editorial calendar designed to promote Mission priorities with online communities; researching and analyzing evolving markets for Mission digital properties; and customizing content and online engagement to promote Mission objectives. Organizes and hosts online conversations; designs and develops innovative engagement opportunities and tools. Is also responsible for the production of visual and multimedia elements of Mission public engagement, including design, creation and/or acquisition of customized visual and multimedia content, which is disseminated online. Creates visual content for all Mission outreach materials by assessing the Nigerien media environment, public preferences for visual content formats and dissemination channels, and the impact of Mission visual materials. Provides guidance to PD LE staff and other Mission personnel on standards, regulations, and policies for the use of digital properties. EDUCATION: A university degree in journalism, communications, business, marketing, English, or computer science is required. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in a multilingual, multicultural or multinational organization is required. Market research and audience analysis, and design and execution of online campaigns must have been significant components of the job. Must have experience managing digital properties, including direct online interaction with the public, and content creation in multimedia and traditional formats. Must have experience in design, creation and packaging of visual and multimedia content for digital marketing, advertising or mass communications purposes.
