Msn- Research Assistant In Hydrogel Materials

About the Position

We are seeking a Research Assistant in Hydrogel Materials to support our research team at UM6P - Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique. You will work on experimental design, material preparation, and characterization in a dynamic research environment focused on innovation and African development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support experimental design and conduct laboratory tests to assess reactivity and material properties
• Prepare and test hydrogel materials for targeted applications
• Perform controlled experiments following established protocols and ensure reproducibility
• Conduct routine material characterization (pH, conductivity, solubility, ICP, rheology, SEM, TEM, EDX, etc.)
• Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data
• Prepare experimental protocols, technical notes, and progress reports
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety procedures

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in materials science, polymer science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related fields
• Strong laboratory skills and hands-on experience in material preparation, synthesis, and analysis
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
• Ability to write clear experimental reports, technical summaries, and research notes
• Strong communication skills for documenting results and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary research teams
