About This Role
Linux systems are critical to modern infrastructure, underpinning key services across organizations. Senior Unix/Linux Systems Administrators ensure these environments remain stable, secure, and efficient. This role focuses on managing, supporting, and improving Linux environments while maintaining compliance and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and configure Linux servers across production environments
- Manage patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Support automation and scripting initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Lead incident response for Linux-related issues
- Collaborate with security teams on system hardening and compliance
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- Deliver fixes and patches within agreed SLA/KPI standards
- Automate processes to reduce manual work and improve reliability
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents
Required Qualifications
- Strong Linux expertise (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Advanced scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Ansible)
- Solid understanding of system hardening and security best practices
- Proven experience in production environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Assignment Details
- Location: On-site client assignment in Saudi Arabia
- Duration: 3 to 6 months
- On-site presence: Required
- Language: Advanced English required (working language)
