MSN- RESEARCH ASSISTANT IN HYDROGEL MATERIALS

About the Position

UM6P - Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique is seeking a Research Assistant to support experimental research on hydrogel materials. This role is based in Casablanca, Morocco.

Key Responsibilities

• Support experimental design and conduct laboratory tests to assess reactivity and material properties
• Prepare and test hydrogel materials for targeted applications
• Perform controlled experiments following established protocols and ensure reproducibility
• Carry out routine material characterization including pH, conductivity, solubility, ICP, rheology, SEM, TEM, and EDX analysis
• Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data
• Prepare experimental protocols, technical notes, and progress reports
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety procedures

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in materials science, polymer science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related fields
• Strong laboratory skills and hands-on experience in material preparation, synthesis, and analysis
• Proficiency in English and French (written and verbal)
• Ability to write clear experimental reports, technical summaries, and research notes
• Strong communication skills for documenting results and collaborating within a multidisciplinary research team
