Warehouse Supervisor at Healthy U

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure FIFO and LIFO principles are adhered to when picking orders
• Ensure smooth stock movement of goods in terms of fast movers and slow movers
• Ensure goods are arranged well by brand and maintained in good condition
• Limit backorders through effective order fulfilment by picking available items from other warehouses and sharing slow-moving SKUs
• Support warehouse re-balancing initiatives
• Monitor stock-out levels and provide stock-out lists to procurement for processing and replenishment
• Reduce operational lead times in picking, loading, and truck dispatch
• Reduce transit loss and warehouse breakages; ensure losses are charged to responsible parties through invoicing
• Conduct quarterly stock takes and prepare reports to be shared with relevant parties for planning purposes
• Share sales order tracker on a daily or weekly basis
• Report daily and weekly sales metrics that are measurable and aligned with corporate strategy for the warehousing department
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous improvement, innovation, and cost reduction
• Monitor and control access and security to the damages cage
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse professional standards and best practices
• Good understanding of FMCG manufacturing operations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Exemplary planning skills
• Excellent team management skills
• In-depth market knowledge and ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders
• High level of integrity
