Role Objective

A leading hotel is seeking a customer-centric waiter to contribute to a delightful guest experience through excellent service delivery and hospitality.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with queries and requests efficiently with refined hospitality
• Provide food and beverages promptly and courteously
• Offer menu explanations and suggest pairings; provide expert recommendations
• Maintain pristine table setups including cutlery polishing, linen care, and floral arrangements
• Ensure immaculate station upkeep throughout service
• Take orders correctly and ensure efficient service delivery
• Ensure proper sequence of courses and communicate changes to the kitchen for efficient preparation
• Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen, bar, and other relevant departments
• Promote beverage and menu item sales while maintaining high service standards
• Present bills to customers and ensure settlement in accordance with hotel procedures
• Set up and break down the restaurant before and after service according to brand standards
• Ensure prompt table clearance between courses
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and equipment with proper storage and care
• Clean and refill cruet and condiment sets
• Address guest complaints professionally or escalate to relevant authority
• Professionally resolve service recovery situations when needed
• Collect feedback to continuously elevate service standards
• Perform any other duties as delegated

Qualifications

• Certificate in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Service, or a related field
• At least 1 year of similar experience in service at a busy, high-end restaurant
